Reegen are now registered as BREEAM Advanced Practitioners. Up to two credits are available under BREEAM 2008 for the comprehensive use of a BREEAM AP throughout a project. To be awarded these credits a BREEAM AP must be employed from the early design stages and have input throughout. Experience tells us that this makes the biggest difference in getting high BREEAM ratings. Such assessments will then benefit not only from the additional 2 credits for using a BREEAM AP but also maximise their chances of gaining high scores throughout the assessment. BREEAM Assessors will be required to check the status of the AP before awarding the additional Innovation section credits to a project.
Eligibility will be confirmed by checking that the AP holds acurrent listing on Green Book Live that covers the period of design team engagement and project assessment. http://www.breeam.org/filelibrary/BREEAM_AP_FAQs_12_Nov_2009.pdf
